The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers undergraduate study for prospective teachers in Elementary Education and Social Studies Education. Other Secondary Teacher Education programs associated with Curriculum and Instruction are also available in the following areas: Special Education; Agriculture Education; Consumer and Family Sciences; Liberal Arts (including English Education, Art Education, Foreign Languages, Health and Safety teaching, Physical Education, or Speech Language Hearing Sciences); Science Education (including Biology teaching, Chemistry Education, Earth and Space Science teaching, Mathematics Education or Physics teaching); and Technology Education. In addition to regular course work, a Study Abroad program is available for students who are interested in international experiences.
