Week #13 |
The eportfolio is required for completion
of Block I and
for entry into Block II. It is your responsibility to learn how to complete
the eportfolio project for this course.
The purpose of the e portfolio is to provide evidence of your professional
growth. Project 4 consists of creating an artifact for your e
portfolio. For this project you will create
a written artifact that consists of a one to two page narrative,
reflecting on the two papers and field experience journals you have written in the course and indicating
connections to the COE principles and INTASC standards listed in the rubric for
this assignment. Your instructor will evaluate and approve or return your
project to you by the beginning of the 14th or 15th week. If your eportfolio is
incomplete or incorrect and your instructor has to return it to you for any
reason you will automatically lose 5 points from your final grade. You will
continue to lose 5 points for each additional time the instructor has to return
your project to you for revision. It is imperative that you complete and double
check your eportfolio project before you submit it for approval. Also
ensure you review the rubric before submitting the paper. You will
fail EDCI 205 if you do not submit and gain approval for your eportfolio.
You should purchase a storage system to store the artifact and the three
papers related to the artifact. You will upload the artifact to your
e portfolio following directions provided.
The Evidence: Evidence consists of information about the
quality of your teaching, learning, and professional experiences. You
will use three pieces of evidence from this course to add to your
portfolio: Educational Autobiography, Field Experience Journals and Educational Philosophy.
The Artifact: To create the e-portfolio artifact you will write
a 1 to 2 page narrative that makes an explicit connection between the two papers
and journals and the
