During the course of your field
experience you will focus on the classroom teacher's practice. You will write
in each week's journal about the following overall question: Why,
whom, and how does my supervising teacher teach? It is important that you
experience the life and responsibilities of the teacher in order to assist you
with your decision to become a professional educator. We urge you to schedule
time with your supervising teacher to discuss some of the suggested questions.
Be sure to include your own observations of this teacher's teaching.
