Research

Research interests include investigating the use of a rubric to develop teachers' knowledge of oral reading fluency in young children; administrators' beliefs and practices that support teacher professional development, identifying preservice and practicing teachers' beliefs about literacy teaching and learning and understanding how these beliefs impact instructional practices; effectiveness of Purdue's Teacher Education Programs.
