Welcome to Curriculum Studies

The Curriculum Studies Program involves much more than technical questions of curriculum design, development, instruction, and evaluation. The faculty attends to the enactment and creation of curriculum through the study of the social, economic, political, and institutional dimensions of teaching and learning. At the heart of the Curriculum Studies Program is the study of the educational journey. An understanding of the curriculum field and the ways teaching and learning occurs both informally and formally allow students to fulfill their unique intellectual and professional needs.
